½ time = 2 core OR 1 core & 1 elective

¾ time = 3 core OR 2 core & 1 elective

Full time = 4 or more classes

Note:

▪ The number of electives cannot exceed the number of core classes.

▪ We receive no state funding for pre-schoolers, but we recognize the importance of early education. We provide $400 for 4 year-olds who have an older sibling in the program. The $400 is an individual allotment and does not come out of their siblings account(s).

WHAT IS A CORE CLASS?

A "core class" as defined by the State of Alaska is a course of study in:

English	Science
Math	Technology
Social Studies	World Languages
